Whaless show in Florence, Italy
PCP gonna have one brand new piece in Whaless show held in Florence art festival.
“Whaleless” is an art project dedicated to those artists wishing to express their indignation, rage, shame, disbelief or concern about the slow disappearance of the fascinating giant marine mammals.
Pollution, whaling and unacceptable fishing practices are only some of the causes that seriously endanger their survival. It seems that they are slowly but inevitably growing extinct, while the consequences of their gradual disappearanceare impossible to predict. And yet we can be certain that the world’s ecosystem －not just the oceans’ but that of our entire planet －will be affected by this change.
The world would not be the same without whales, which is why action needs to be taken immediately!
The project “Whaleless” was born 3 years ago on the pages of the Italian Pig magazine and on
whaleless.com; after receiving more than 200 artworks from all over the world (from the USA to Honk Kong, from Russia to Venezuela) and hundreds of thousands of clicks on the website,
“Whaleless” is now on the road. The exhibition will then head to major European cities over the next few years, trying to raise awareness for this global environmental problem.

POKETO First Editions Print Show
Poketo will celebrate the launch of its new space － and a new era - by presenting “First Editions,” a show featuring limited edition letterpress and giclee prints by 25 international artists. Print editions of 50-100 made exclusively for Poketo will be available at the show.
The opening reception is slated for Saturday, March 22nd from 6-10 PM at the Poketo studio located in the Arts District/Little Tokyo section of downtown Los Angeles. The first in a series of art events at the studio scheduled for 2008, “First Editions” will showcase the print work of several longtime Poketo collaborators, including Andrew Jeffrey Wright, Chris Pew, Kate Bingaman-Burt, Susie Ghahremani, Keith Shore, The Little Friends of Printmaking, and more, with limited runs of each print available for purchase at the event.
